Modifying an Invoice Template
Rick,
The simple answer is yes you can modify an invoice template. To do it, when you are in the 'Single Product Invoce Printing' window and you are asked to select a template for use with your invoice - you say that you are selecting INVPRCA4SLY, select it as normal but instead of clicking the Generate Report button, click Edit. The Sage Report Designer will open and will then open the template that you have selected. You can then add, move, delete, format any of the fields you require. It will keep you amused for hours!!

Hi John
Thanks for your help, I've managed to change the invoice template a little,
I've moved "quantity" to The left & "details" to the right and made space for the stock codes. I've even managed to tyoe "stock code" along the top................................ but how do I get the actual codes to appear on the invoice?
When I'm making an invoice I do type in the codes but only the description appears on the printed inv.
cheers

Assuming you are Pre V13.
You need to add the stock code field.
In the report designer, look at the drop down box on the toolbar, the one to the right, you should find stock code in there when the stock table is selected on the left. once you have it selected, click in the space where you want it to appear, you should be able to work it our from there.

Re: product code
Hi
I have the same problem as above but i'm using version 20 of sage. When adding a data field the option of product code isnt available. As we are an engineering company it is essential that the product code is shown on the invoice. Hope you can help.
Many Thanks
