Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue or knows of a way to fix this.
I recently updated my clients laptop from xp to windows 7. Everything is working fine and I have set up the network that was currently there before.
However, sage 50 2011 has stopped working. You can click on the sage.exe and the logo panel will appear. However, afters 15 seconds this will disappear without any login prompt.
I believe I have change the path to the database, as this is different from xp and win7.
Am I missing something? is there a setting that i need to change? i have tried to find new installation files for sage 50 2011 but I am not having much luck there either.
Thank you for time in advance
Richard

Re: sage 2011 crashes with no login prompt
Assuming you have removed al remnants of the previous install I would install it in the default directory that the installer prompts you with.
This will change depending on the operating system you are using.
For a 64 bit operating system it would typically be C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage
For a 32 bit operating system it would typically be C:\Program Files\Sage
If the installer prompts you with something strange, then it suggests that something has been left behind and things are still not clean.
