change the default layout design of the despatched PRINT GDN

Post by meshsupplies » 18 Jul 2013, 15:08

Hi

Can someone tell me where the standard despatched PRINT GDN is on the folder list and how to change it (add logo and boxes etc)

I found one that I thought was it and altered it saved it same name GDNPRINT1.report and then renamed the existing one in that folder with .old extension
Then renamed GDNPRINT1.report to GDNPRINT.report

When I then go into a completed sales order and select despatched tab then the PRINT GDN button it still loads the old layout.

Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong and step by step guide to fixing this

Thanks

Neil

There are several reports folders... You need the right one.

In Settings Company Preferences Reports is "use datapath for reports" ticked?

What operating system are you running?

The path to the reports folder should be...

c:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\2012\Company.000\Reports

Program Data is a hidden folder.

You need to put the report in the correct sub folder from here as well.

Hi

I have change file options so I can see all hidden system files but i still do not see the program data file under the reports folder?

The only way i can print one is to a completed sales order - reports - and then select the GDN report which I have altered.

Is there not a way so that it can be selected from the despatch GDNPRNT button?

This seems to still be using a report form different to the one I have changed?

Thanks for your help
