Layouts have gone.

Post by JamieP » 10 Mar 2011, 13:59

Hi,

Just installed a server in our office.

We were previously using a networked hard drive to run 5 users but were finsing this really slow. Now that we have installed Sage Line 50 v12 on our server and pointed all the users machines to the data on this we have lost all out report designs and when we need to print sales orders, purchase orders, invoices etc they are gone.

The templates can be found in the c: drive of each machine but we cant get them to come up when requesting print within the software.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Jamie.

Hi Jamie,

Make sure the layouts folder next to the ACCDATA folder on your server has the layouts in. The Sage program ALWAYS looks for the layouts next to the data.

You can find the data directory in Help > About > System Information > Directories.

Hope this helps.

Makes sure you share the right directory, it needs to be "at least" the parent above accdata
