Post by brettexengineering » 15 Apr 2009, 11:14

I am new to sage and need some help.
When I have raised a purchase order andded in the items but not allocated either the items of the order to a project saved it then go back to edit it ( add the project to the top left corner) can I make this change be appiled to the items on the order?

Project costing is done at the item level.

However at the order level there is a box to apply a project and a cost code.

If you change these, you will get a dialogue asking you if you want to apply it to all the (unordered) items on the order.

You can still edit the detail on each item and alter the cost code and / or project for each item.

The determining factor for the application of changes is if the order items are "on-order" or not.
