after doing bank transfer yesterday got my self in all sorts of trouble.
Pettycash at the end of each day should be zero but yesterday it was a minus figure which it should not be. I can see which figures i need to delete but it will not let me delete them as they are bank transfers. Can anybody help ?

If it was a bank transfer that initially got you into trouble in the first place, it sounds like the best option would be to simply do another bank transfer but a "reverse posting" of the original.

In other words, just put the monies back where they came from with the descriptive legend "Posting Error Correction".

We run 4 separate bank accounts here and have made posting errors to the wrong accounts before and found this is the simplest way to sort the problem out - should work in this case as well by the sounds of it.
