Hi Tiggy

Have you got any year-end journals from the accountant? If so do these and run year-end (simple to do - make sure you do two backups before tackling).

Some accountants in my experience don't understand Sage and don't want to. It is a management tool for you and a financial package for the accountant to in theory save them time of production of year-end.

I would phone your accountant and ask for the year-end to be done and if they say no then tell them that you need to run your business and tell how you are doing on a month to month basis and that you wil be doing the year-end with the data that you have and that they can sort things out afterwards. Follow everything uo with a letter or email.

Hope that helps

Stuff the accountant, just do the year ends, don't wait for year end journals, do them later on in the year if you want.

Keep backups and make archives as you go.
