Hi everyone
When I try to save a supplier payment, an error window appears that says 'waiting to open REMITIDX.dta'. The window also has a progress bar that fills up and then starts over so I'm guessing that doesn't indicate progress.
Its Sage 50 version 8 running on Parallels XP on an iMac
Any help and all comments are appreciated.

REMITIDX.dta is a file in the Accdata directory.
sounds like the OS has locked the file.
Try renaming it to .old. When you next launch sage it should spot the missing file and rebuild it. run file maint error check afterwards to be sure.
As always backup first.
