Hello. Our company is going through some big changes. Basically we are having a huge amount of stock arriving in from one supplier. All this stock is on an exel spread sheet. Is there any way I can import this spread sheet straight into sage without having to create a new code for each item individually?
I have looked at the import options on sage but it seems that each product record needs it's own spread sheet. If I have to do it in that format it would be quicker to just create each code individually. The only 4 details I need to import for each new code are, code/description/cost price/sale price. That is the way the new items are laid out on the spread sheet. If I convert this to a csv file is there anyway of importing it into sage?
Best regards,
Will

Importing product records
Importing stock records
I am afraid I don't have an answer will, but I too am extremely interested in this process. We will need to import a large amount of stock data in the New Year, and it will make life so much easier if we could import directly from a spreadsheet.
I will watch this thread with interest!
