back up files

I have tried to send a back up of my all files from sage to my accountants so that they can work on my year end. This was completed ok last year

I am using Financial controller sage 50 version 11.

I have tried sending the file via email but the accountants are unable to open file with error message 'incorrect back up disk 30059.

I also took my computer to them and they tried to extract via an external drive but still unable to do it.

does this mean i have no back up and is it a sage problem or a computer problem.

I have also tried backing to cd, message i get is 'no disk in drive'. I have saved on disk many times so I'm not sure why this is happening.

please help :(

Could be a strange data issue.

Nothing obvious I can think of to cause it.

I would get a good known backup before digging any deeper, you might suffer significant data loss running maintenance fix routines etc.
