Hi,
Working in a small family run business using vista PC and sage 50 accounts V19.01.11.285.
The Vista PC packed up last week, hard drive issues. The company replaced it with windows 7 pro PC, and told me to transfer what i can off the old drive and into the new PC.
I setup sage 50 on the new PC and restored sage data from backups for the 3 separate companies. After the restore had completed it asked for the login credentials, which I duly entered and message came back saying they were incorrect. These same credentials were working correctly on the vista pc.
Then company is quite happy using this version and don't want to upgrade.
I'm puzzled as to why this is, cam anyone point me in the right direction to fix and gain access to sage again.

Try logging in as manager with no password, perhaps you are connected to a different set of data to the one you think?
