I'm using Sage 50 Accounts with the data stored on a mapped network drive. However, after rebooting the machine I see the error "****INVALID DIRECTORY PATH****" in Sage. I then have to delete the company and recreate it, rebrowsing to the mapped drive within Sage. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
The Windows 'reconnect at sign-in' option is selected for the drive so it is always accessible. I also tried deleting the company file and allowing Sage to recreate it, but the issue still reoccurs.
The company file contains:
Q:\Data\Company
This is mapped to:
\\Server\Accounts\Data\Company

Re: Invalid Directory Path Error
With V2015, you should no longer use mapped drives, you must use the unc path not a mapped drive letter for backup to work.
i.e.
\\Server\Accounts\Data\Company
You will find that just browsing to the drive and then retrying sage would fix the issue, but better to use unc and be rid of the issue for good.
