delete company line 50 v7

Post by shareena » 22 Apr 2007, 11:51

We have Line 50 V7 with multiple companies and have created 5 years of accounts for the same company, in order that we can go back and refer to the details for the last 5 years. The user prefers it this way. The problem is, we have now reached the maximum limit and it does not allow us to create a 6th year. Line 50 is also linked to Job Costing. I was wondering if I could delete a company in Line 50 and create another for the new tax year and whether this would have any consequences to the other figures in Line 50 or Job Costing. I tried deleting the oldest set of accounts - 2002 and it did not allow me as it said that the accounts were in use. It did however give me the option to delete 2003 but I did not proceed.

I would be very grateful if anyone can shed any light.

Many thanks
shelly
