Hi there,
I am having trouble backing up my sage v12 instant accounts. When I try to back up on to cd i get an error message saying " windows unable to read the cd rom in drive d - retry". Having tried both cd drives and various cdr's i decided to back up on to old 3 1/4" floppy disc - when the first disc was full it asked me to install a second and then told me back up was unsucessful.
Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Many thanks for the help!
Liam.

unless you have some software such as INCD Cd's can not be written to directly.
You have to backup to the hard disk first and then copy the backup to the CD
My personal recommendation would be to get a webmail account with gmail, yahoo or something like that and email the backups to the web account.
