Hi,
I have a pretty complex purchase order template which adapts to how it displays products depending on their stock code prefix etc, that i can manage but what i am unsure of how to do, is create a cover page to use as a purchase order confirmation of receipt/acknowledgement.
What i am looking for is for the first entire page of any purchase order (Full A4 Sheet Size) to be in a different format to the rest of the purchase order. This will enable me to create the PO Confirmation/acknowledgement that can just detail the Total Net, Vat & Gross and Delivery Dates, any notes and other information with a small declaration the supplier can sign and return to say that they have received the order and can meet the delivery dates and agree on the amounts etc.
I could create this as a seperate report template but that doesent help because it needs to be generated the same time as the PO itself.
Does anybody have any ideas how i can go about this? I would really appreciate any feedback and help.
Thanks, Steve.

Re: Purchase Order Template - Possible to Add a Cover Page?
I would suggest a workaround by printing a second template just after printing the actual purchase order, although you may already do this.
If not, I would open your purchase order print template.
Then Click Save As "Purchase Order Cover Page"
Now the layout will be exactly the same as in the PO, but you can now edit, add and move fields around to how you want.
Then just print one after the other.
You could also experiment in adding a further copy of the purchase order details on the PO template, below the footer. Logically, this would cause the P/O to then print on two pages so you could have a different second page as your cover page, but I have never tried it so don't know if it will work.
Let us know how you get on.
