Sage 50 Accounts Pr 2010
16.0.17.0156
I'm getting the following 'Access Denied' message:
You cannot access Configuration Editor because MANAGER is logged in on machine MARIAN_4072.
I don't have another machine running Sage. How do I resolve this?
(I was trying to remove the need for user information when opening a company.)
Thanks in advance

Log in as MANAGER with the appropriate password if there is one. You'll be asked if you want to remove the user - answer Yes and you'll be able to get in and make the changes.

Thank you,
However when I do this I'm not getting the option to remove a user. When I > view > user list.I only see one user active - myself!

Loging out after logging in as Manager should clear it.
If it does not then open the datapath and in the accdata directory find the file called queue.dta and delete it (or rename it if you are nervous) this will sort it out.

If you have deleted QUEUE.DTA and still get the message, it suggests that you have deleted the wrong QUEUE.DTA file - the file is specific to the data set.
In Sage, go to Help -> About -> System Information -> Directories. Right click on the data folder and it will open in Windows Explorer - keep Explorer open and close Sage. Make sure no one else is using it (assuming that it is a multi user version) and then delete the QUEUE.DTA folder.
