Sage 50 disappears after logging in

Using Sage 50 Accounts 2009.
After entering the logon name and password, nothing happens. The logon dialog box disappears like usual but the program doesn't start. Any ideas? Preferably don't want to have to reinstall as had problems getting it to work last time and had to call Sage...
Thanks

If you leave it for AGES (I mean 15mins) does it come up with an invalid username error?
If so it is the crypto keys issue, there are instruction here for dealing with it. normally this would be resolved by installing service pack 1, but I have seen cases where it isn't. These instructions are for XP and things are in different places if you are running W7/Vista

If not then a clean reinstall is the best bet. You can skip the .net bit because sage didn't use .net before V13. And some folders will not exist so don't worry about deleting them.

That's interesting, not something I've ever heard suggested before...
