Access denied after restore

Having restored with data from accountant access is denied due to the fact that newer version being used by accountant but even when I try to update it will still not allow me access. This has happened before and I found a solution on line but should have saved it. Please help if you can. I am still using manager as user name.

If it is a newer version, then you will have to upgrade to the same version as your accountant.
There are some upgrades with V2010 and greater that are not forced
You should manually check your version at
http://www.sage.co.uk/accountsupdates/
there are issues if you are running Instant accounts that are handled differently.
