Account On Hold Pop-up Warning

Post by SkySurfer » 01 Feb 2011, 14:39

Hi,

I am reliably informed by the girls who process incoming payments here, that up until a couple of weeks ago, whenever they processed a bank receipt for a customer that is "On Stop" (Account on Hold), there would be a pop-up informing them of the customers current account status, and asking whether or not you would like to change that status - Eg, back to account being fully open again.

Basically, the process followed is:
Banking Module
Choose account to receive payment
Choose Customer (for receipt)
Enter customer account reference - At this point pop-up would normally appear warning of "account on hold and would you like to change the status"

This has now stopped happening and we are back to having to manually change an account status back in the customer's account record AFTER the bank receipt has been processed.

Apparently, this feature only appeared after we upgraded to 50 V2010 and then just disappeared again a few weeks ago.

I have had a look around all the various options to see if I can discover whether or not this is a selectable item, but to no avail.
All machines are running all the latest service packs and updates as at 31/01/11 (Version 16.0.17.0158)

Incidentally, when a customer is On Hold/Stop, the warning box still pops up when accessing their account details or creating a Sales Order/Invoice - this functionality has not changed, it is merely the "Account Status Warning & Change Option" when entering customer receipts that is the problem.

If anybody has any ideas (or ideally a cure!!) I would be very grateful to hear them :)

My inital suggestion would be to

1/ check that the customer really was on "account status whatever[hold]" because if they were not on hold the message would not pop.

2/ check out doing the same thing logged in as manager.
