I had a bit of a distaster last week when a virus completely fouled up my computer and wouldn't let me get into Sage; fortunately I had the data backed up on to a memory stick.
I run two companies accounts on Sage 50 Accounts 2009 and basically I had to re-load the program from scratch.
I then spoke to Sage who gave me an Authorisation Code and I then managed to restore the data.
The only problem is, that on one of the two companies I am now unable to back-up. When I try to do this, the following comes up:
'You cannot access Backup because MANAGER is logged in on machine ALAN-01CGI5S2MF_2884.'
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Restoring Data
You need to delete a file, in the data directory for that company (ACCDATA), called QUEUE.DTA and all should be fine
(you might prefer to just rename it to something else, in case you get the wrong file by accident.)
