Decimal Point Places !

I have Line 50 Financial Controller V12. I upgraded from V5 and overall it works fine and allows for far more options but I do have a niggle or two. The main one is that in certain circumstances, Sage rounds off the decimal place to a maximum of 2 and this is the bugbear. Here's a couple of problem areas :-

In product fields, you can enter qty discounts using discount sections A, B, C etc. After entering a qty I move on to the discount percentage. In V5 I could enter multiple places after the decimal point to allow for a very accurate, discounted price which has been discounted based on high qty. The final discounted amount needs to be the correct amount. However when entering the % amount in V12, I can only enter to 2 places. I can enter more places if I click on and input using the calculator matrix, but Sage rounds it off of to 2 places again, so either way I can't win. With only 2 places, the invoice is incorrect by a small amount such as 1p or 2p. The product default is set to 4 so it isn't that because within a product record, multiple places are allowed after the decimal points for order prices and sales prices, so why not in other relative areas ?

This limitation of 2 decimal places also carries over in other areas such as Discount GBP in 'Edit Item Line' for a price adjustment in invoices, the Net carriage price in invoices, plus others and I find it frustrating.

Been through all the settings such as Configuration, product, invoice config etc., and although I may have missed something, I can't spot it. Can anyone help ? I don't confess to being an expert with Sage, and can usually sort things through but this one has me baffled.

Settings>Product Defaults, you can set Qty and Unit DP.

These are strange and do affect other things, nothing else I can think of.
