Minimum Order value

Post by Al_Hindmarsh » 17 Aug 2016, 15:26

Any one got an idea how to do a minimum value Order ?

For people to buy spares we charge a minimum of £35 an order. Quite a few orders are below this. What we have to do currently is for instance: put a stock item on with a quantity of 3 and then have to work it out to £35, so the example would be to charge £11 per part and put another line in for £2 (to keep the arithmetic easy) or charge £11.67 per part.
We need to keep the quantity in to keep our stock correct but don;t want to have to get everything to add up to £35.

I can amend the Order layouts easily enough to always be £35 on the order/invoice.

any ideas

Add a non stock product "minimum surcharge" and just add that on.

If you alter the selling price then you are misrepresenting the profitability.
