importing from microsoft access

Post by marycollins » 24 May 2007, 13:42

I would like to import the information from our database into sageline 50 in order to record the invoice data formally.

(a) i imagine it is possible
(b) do I have to map the fields
or
(c) do I have to rename the fields in access
(d) are there any required fields?

It would be great if you could help!

Thanks

To get data into line 50 you need to use a third party package or the SDK.

The SDK costs £1500 per year and you call routines to create the types of transactions you want.

The import tool cost £225 it extracts data from and ODBC data source, a CSV file or any sort of text file

If you want more information.

The import routines only allow very basic import, note that the formats are now different for some versions of line 50.
