Switching Computers

Post by doinktheclown » 10 Jun 2015, 09:09

Hi

I'm looking to switch a couple of computers around, as one is performing much quicker than the other. They both have Sage, and both are wired to the same network.

Is it as simple as it sounds, or will there be some kind of issue?

If anyone could fill me in, it would be appreciated.

Thanks

The one that hosts the data will always be the faster, all you need to do is move the data and edit the company file to have the new path.
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.

Thanks for the reply.

Neither of these computers are the host, so it is not a case of that I do not think.
