Year End Accounting Date

Post by Daniel » 05 May 2015, 12:57

I'm running sage 50, 2010, Version 16. We have an accounting year end of April but this year we wish to extend it to end October, so a 18 month accounting period. I have tried to change the accounting year end date in settings but it won't allow me to make the change. I had thought about a 12 month period and then a 6 month period but I still can't change the accounting reference date to give a 6 month year. Is there anything that I can do?

If you don't have the option it may be because your version does not allow it.

I can do it for you. It is £30 unless you have a huge set of data.
