Installation of Basic PAYE RTI

Post by Deborah 13 » 24 Jul 2014, 09:49

Good morning,

I recently had trouble with Sage line 50 not being able to use transaction email for invoices. Following some tech advice I deleted a program somewhere in my computer. Since then I still can't use transaction email but now every time I shut my computer down I lose HMRC Basic PAYE tool. I'm having to install it every time I want to use it. Fortunately all my wages info is still there, which must surely mean it's hiding some where in my computer? I've phone the tech section at HM Rev but to no avail. It's been at least 4 weeks since I did what ever I did and can't even remember what I deleted. Thoroughly confused with the whole situation and desperate for a solution.

Sorry I can't be more specific but computers baffle me.

Regards Deborah

What was the tech advice and what did you delete?

If you uninstalled one of the security systems like rapport then things might be broken. Reinstalling it might fix it.

I would do a clean reinstall. http://support.makingithappen.co.uk/sag ... nstall.htm

Transaction email is not much good for emailing invoices it is really for doing EDI, whilst it does work, there are better EDI solutions out there. Are you using it for EDI or are you just trying to email invoices?
