Is there a way to add additional Analysis Fields?

Post by iStevie » 25 Oct 2013, 10:44

Hi,

I have a requirement to add a few more (or ideally add as many fields as I require going forward) custom/analysis fields to the project record of Sage 50 Accounts Professional v2013 (I suppose the same principle could apply to the customer and supplier records also). I already make use of the three default analysis fields, but the projects module is probably at the heart of the firm I work for, therefore a lot of notes get made in no particular order or format, which could all be tidied up by having set fields for the information.

Ideally these fields could also be selected to appear in the standard project list window, to give an overview of the information.

Any thought, methods, suggestions welcome.

Best regards,
Steve.

There is no way to alter the databases in sage 50.

But, there are add ons, not sure is any would do what you want but have a look at this...

Martin is an accommodating chap, if it doesn't quite do what you need, give him a ring and ask him.

Thanks Bruce, appreciate the recommendation.

I had stumbled across them actually, I think their Data Nuggets add-on looks promising!

Thanks,
Steve.
