Missing Data

Post by Alan Clark » 20 Aug 2012, 13:22

I've just posted Bank Payments for the month of July 2012 and misposted one item. When I go into corrections and search for the transaction number so that I can amend it, the screen comes up with 'INFORMATION COULD NOT BE FOUND'. All the July 2012 items that I posted show up as posted in the Bank Account No. 1220. Do you have any idea how I can locate the record to amend?!?
(My year end was 30/04/12 and I've not had any problems posting items in the new year so far).

I'd also be looking for a search that may be applied. Have a look in the top right hand corner for "XX of XX Records matched". If so, click the magnifying glass to the right until it shows "All records".

Also, you could try resorting the columns to refresh the data. Do this by clicking any column header, for example, "No", "Type" or "Account".

Thanks for answers.

I went into 'Corrections and clicked on 'No' which obviously put the transactions in numerical order after which I could find the transaction that I needed to amend.

To be honest, I've never noticed what order the transactions come up in. i.e. Transaction No., Date, Account, etc., but would have thought the default was to Transaction No.

Anyway, thanks for your help.
