How do I configure outgoing email in sage accounts 2012

Post by sallycat1980 » 26 Jun 2012, 14:12

Can anyone help me with this?

I am using version 18.1.0.20 sage accounts 2012

To save on postage i would like to send my remittances via email. I do not use sage for invoicing customers and only use it for my purchase ledger. I want to send remittances via email but keep going around in circles.

I have been into Tools/Transaction email. Once in this window, it asks me to set up the email as if i want sage to import all of my inbox from outlook into sage, which i REALLY do not want to do. I am very happy with the way my outlook is set up and do not want to change anything. I would really like it if sage only used email as an outgoing message sent from outlook if this is possible and not to touch the inbox in outlook.

Trying to research this topic online is doing my head in!!!

You do not want to use T-Mail that is for EDI not emailing documents.

Follow this guide and you should be fine
