Hi all,
I'm trying to import the information from my Sage 50 Accounts 2012. I'm building a data file using either Excel or Filemaker Pro.
When I create a customer in Sage, I want to be able to import the info into my new data file I'm creating. I can't find the table in Sage to pull the data from! If I create an invoice for that customer it's easy - they obviously appear in the Invoices table. Some of my customers take approx 2 months before I create an invoice for them but I want them to be in my data file (CRM).
Anyone any idea which table I need to pull data from please? I'm pulling my hair out here and don't have much left!
Thanks
Jack

Re: Customer data
The table you want is called SALES_LEDGER
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.
Re: Customer data
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for that. When I try to pull the data into Filemaker it says that the Sales_Ledger table is empty and has no fields. Is there a limit on the Sage ODBC to not allow access to this table?

Re: Customer data
The table is called SALES_LEDGER, it may be case sensitive.
Can you post the code you use to set up the odbc drivers in filemaker, I don't know file maker but I might be able to understand it.
Have you pointed it at the correct data set?

Re: Customer data
did you ever get anywhere with this ? I am trying to set up an import from Sage line 50 v14 into Filemaker 12 - but getting nowhere fast. I am reasonably proficient Filemaker developer.
