Hope this is an easy fix for someone

In V12 PO's invoices etc if I selected email sage would just email the reports to the saved address but we have just upgraded to 2009 and if I select email I get a save as dialog but if I preview then select email it sends the report to the saved email address but if there isn't a save address it just disappears where as if there was no address in V12 it used to appear as a draft email and I just manually put the address in and send it

I had a problem with the pdf printer when I first installed it but solved that by installing ths 2.51 driver and updating report designer to v 1.3

You need to check the email settings on the report and tell me what they are.

Hi
My email settings are
group 4- PURCHASE_ORDER.ORDER_NUMBER
To "purchase_ledger.e_mail
Subject COMPANY.NAME + " - Purchase Order " + PURCHASE_ORDER.ORDER_NUMBER

How should report be sent
Send report as an attachment
Attachment format PDF
Request Send receipt Checked
Send mails immediately
Mail provider MAPI

If I go to setings for mapi and send test mail to myself I recieve the test mail

I have tried save mails to mailbox but they never appear in the mail box to send
I'm using Thunderbird and that was working fine in V12
As a get around I've been saving the PO or Invoice to a folder the writing an email and attaching it manualy

MAPI is not Thunderbird, it is Outlook.

The emails without addresses should be in Outlook

Thunderbird is Mapi compliant and worked in V12

The 3 options I have in the drop down is Mapi, Stmp and Outlook

Might try setting up outlook see if it sends then?

Thunderbird is not compliant "enough" to work with Sage 50

Thunderbird is an excellent email client, I use it for my personal emailing.
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.

Thunderbird worked fine with V12 has sage changed the emailing since then?

Just done some more testing tried sending a test message from report designer (Tools>options>email setup) and both mapi and stmp work, I recieve a test mail. A soon as I try using either mapi or stmp via print report a box comes up and says the report was sucessfully output to email but no mail is recieved or sent to drafts. I would thought stmp would bypass thunderbird and go stright to my email server?

STMP server is working now had not clicked send mails imediatly

Don't know how I've done the same things multple times but now sage is sending emails via mapi/Thunderbird only thing I have done is put my address as a CC

Managed to send all of this months Purchase orders again though Whoops!
