DEFAULT SETTINGS
Is there a way of setting computer so that on back up only data is automatically ticked and not the others items. Can I set it so that when computer opens I dont get dashboard but the normal screen

Sage will remember the setting you last used for backup.
Depends on what you mean by "normal screen"
If you want the welcome page then
help>show welcome page
Should do it.
If you are getting dashboards and not having settings remembered fro backup, then I would think there may be something wrong with access rights.
Try creating a new user, if that doesn't work, then a bitr more information about version of Sage the operating system and so on will be needed.
