You need to install the application onto the machine that will act as a file server.

The main installation directory then needs to be shared.

On each workstation PC you need to create a mapped network drive for that fileshare Drive S: is a popular choice.

Open that drive and you will find an application called netsetup, running that application will install Line 50 onto that machine.

Note: For this to work you must own a copy of Network Financial Controller this is the only version to support network operation.

You version is very old and no longer supported, modern operating systems did not exist when it was written. Upgrading may be a wise move.

The most inexpensive way to get network financial controller is to upgrade, but because your product is "end of life" that is no longer an option.

You can buy a years sagecover extra and then upgrade or you can buy new.

You can get pricing direct from Sage (you now have to pay per network user and you can get networked versions of acct plus etc) 0845 111 1111

If you want you can buy through me, you can get discount or some free support. http://sage.support.makingithappen.co.uk/sales.htm
