Version sounds okay now.

Perhaps you have several profiles for Outlook and it is configured to access one you do not have access rights for.

From the Windows Start menu, open the Control Panel and double-click Mail this should list all the profiles you have setup in Outlook.

If you can access Outlook and there is only one profile it doesn't make much sense.

Perhaps the best thing is to delete/rename the configuration file for tMail and go through configuration again.

The file you are looking for is TMAIL.INI

It's normal location is

C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\Tmail\TMAIL.INI

Best to just rename it TMAIL.INF.OLD

Go back into setup and the wizard should guide you through reconfiguring.

Hi Bruce
No file TMAIL.INI Looked in C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\Tmail Only files in that folder are SGSysTRAY, TMail.mdb TMail.usr Tmail1 Tmail_INV Tmail_ORD
Did a search through Sage and did not find the file TMAIL.INI anywhere in the program.

Ooops I made a typo in the path.

C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\Accdata\Tmail

The path is the subdirectory called tmail in the datapath.

You might have a network installation and the datapath in which case the datapath is not on Drive C: If you do not know it you can find the datapath in Help>About

Hi Bruce
We got there! Found a file called 'Tmail' which had configuration settings in the type column. Changed it to 'Tmailold' and I was allowed in, now a new 'Tmail' file has appeared.
Thanks for your help and perseverence.

Wow, that was an unexpected.

ini files are pretty hard to corrupt, so surprised this was the cause.
