Convert .sly to .layout help please

Post by jamesbird » 07 Apr 2011, 16:46

I've just upgraded from line50 V10 to V17 (2011), but of course now find the .sly layouts I had wont be seen. I've tried to import them into the new layout editor but get a ODBC 'need a user and password' error. Old and new Sage were/ are single user products with application on desk PC and data path on a server.
Is there an easy way of getting these layouts into V17? If I go back to V10 can I 1st export them in a more .layout friendly way?
I'm a bit stuck, got my book keeper happily churning out invoices which I cant print to send!
Any ideas welcome
Thanks

When the odbc dialogue pops up enter a valid sage username and password and it should convert the layout.

otherwise convert them in a batch Tools>convert Reports
