Hi All,
I am currently trying to setup my transaction emails on Sage Instant accounts, but keep getting an error when I click on Transaction Email in the Tools menu.
the version of sage I am using is instant accounts V15. Our computer operating system is Windows 7.
The error message I get when clicking on Transaction Email is:
SAGE TRANSACTION EMAIL FAILED TO INITIALISE. SEE THE APPLICATION LOG FOR DETAILS.
When I then go to the application log I get the following message:
Application logging started
Current trace level set to : eTraceLow
The configuration file 'C:\PROGRAMDATA\SAGE\ACCOUNTS\2009INSTANT\COMPANY.000\ACCDATA\Tmail\TMAIL.INI' was successfully loaded.
Error in DatabaseUpgrade.GetCurrentVersion: The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.
Error in DatabaseUpgrade.Upgrade: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Error in frmInitialise_Load: Database upgrade failed.
I know a small amount about computers, but this message log is something I have never had to deal with, and don't particularly want to either!! So if any one has any ideas on what I need to do to get this up and running I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.
Stephanie

Most people setting up Tmail don't really want to do the BASDA ebiz XML edi, they just want to send invoices or statements by email.
So first are you sure that you want Tmail?
Can you give the full long version and build number of Sage from Help>About?
Can you say if this is the 32bit or 64bit version of Windows 7?
Can you give the full version of Microsoft Outlook you are using and is this 32 bit or 64bit?
For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming

Hi,
I just want to be able to send invoices etc by email. How do I do this?? Because I keep getting error messages?
Version: 15.00.21.0021
It is the 64-bit version of windows.
It is the 32-bit version of Outlook.
Thanks for your help in advance.

You DO NOT want or need to setup Tmail.
Here is a guide I wrote to try and explain what you need to do.
