Amending Opening Balances - Help!

Post by Sharon5000 » 11 Jan 2011, 12:41

Dear folks

**I posted this in the wrong forum initially - sorry**

Can anyone help!

Please could you let me know how I can amend the Bank opening balance on Sage. Unfortunately I entered a credit figure instead of a debit - and I need to make amendments before I can start reconciling.

Unfortunately I can't delete and start again, as I have posted 3 months worth of information into the system.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I'm using Sage Line 50 V.16.00.17.0154.

Many thanks in advance for any advice/help

Sharon

You can not amend it however, you can enter additional o/b entries to correct it.

Use the O/B button next to the balance on the bank account record.
