Report Designer and Email Line Breaks

I'm having a problem when emailing out invoices.

The problem is with the Email Options -> (with the following note) section.

I put my covering email in that bit and use line breaks - I've tried both enter and shift-enter. The line breaks appear and all is well. I click OK which saves that section.

I can go back in and the line breaks are still there. So I save the report.

BUT

Whenever I go back into the report all of the line breaks have gone, and the "with the following note" is all on one line - ie, no line breaks.

Has anyone seen this before and does anyone know how to get it working as expected?

I am using Sage 50 Accounts Plus 2011.

Can you give the full version number it should be 17.0.12.197 if not you need to update.

Hi

I've just checked and I am running 17.0.12.197. However have found more out about the problem.

It seems that although when going back into the report the line breaks aren't there (not displayed), they do still work.

It just makes it hard to edit the report as I can't see where the line breaks are.

On some systems,I have seen strange looking characters representing the carriage return and line feed, not sure if everyone sees them.

I would upgrade to the Version 1.3 report designer and it may have been fixed now.

It says in about that I am using Report Designer 1.3 2010 50 - but I can't see how to make the attachment the invoice number. Is that possible?

Yes, you can build the name using and expression in the email settings
