Hi,

We use Sage Line 50 v11, single user.

During use (working in the fixed asset register) norton antivirus popped up with a script blocking error message and immediately closed Sage down.

Now, trying to log in is says "user name is in use - the program cannot connect you at this time". The bottom left of the screen also says "connecting to server...."

We have tried rebooting the computer, but this didn't clear the error.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Deleting the queue.dta file will enable you to log in.

(it is located in your sage accdata directory)

You may also need to tell norton to allow the script to run.

That's done the trick.
