Inserting Images/Pictures
Inserting Images/Pictures
The images in my layouts are no longer there, but are represented by a purple image placeholder. The images weren't linked to the file when originally inserted. I've tried to re-insert a new image in various formats without success. Can anyone help?

Have you re-installed your software, moved PC or something?
Installed and graphics / camera software?
Have you applied all the latest patches for your version of Line 50?
What version of Line 50 is it?
Do the layouts print alright?

I did a re-install recommended by Sage because I kept getting a 'register e-banking' error message.
Installed and graphics / camera software?
No.
Have you applied all the latest patches for your version of Line 50?
All the one listed on their website have been installed.
What version of Line 50 is it? 12.01.0068
Do the layouts print alright?
The layouts print fine, I just can't add an image! Arrr!!!
Any more ideas??

Is there a correlation between the appearance of this problem and the re-installation of Line 50?
Perhaps this is just a rendering issue in windows. Make sure you have the latest version of Direct X from Microsoft.
A manual update from http://update.microsoft.com should give you the option to upgrade.
Failing this, I suggest backing up your data, uninstalling line50, deleting anything that remains in the sage accounts folder (C:\Program Files\Sage\Accounts\ for a standard modern installation) and then reinstalling.
Make sure you do a FULL backup up as this will delete all reports, layouts, archives and so on. Make sure you know where the Backup is, (if it is in the Sage directory and you delete it along with everything else you will kick yourself)
