Skipping salary for one month

Post by martinburkitt » 25 Feb 2010, 09:29

Hi,

One of our directors is to miss a month of pay and have it paid a month or two later. I plan to simply process a zero payment, but what should I do with the inevitable tax rebate - part of me reckons I should "withhold" it, as its not really due considering he will be paid the salary in the following months.

Any thoughts?

M

Ah nevermind - I see there is a very helpful checkbox on the "maintain employee pay" screen that allows me to not pay the employee that month.

Cheers

M
