Cannot Select a backup file to restore

Post by Hugh James » 28 Oct 2009, 18:54

I have a problem where by in the restore previous backups dialogue I cannot select a backup copy to restore.
If I click on any of the files listed nothing happens , they are not highlighted
If I press the swap button they all get selected and higlighted , if I press the clear button they all get deselected.
If I dont select a file and just press ok I get the message "The selected File does not exist" , which may just be what you normally get if you dont select a file, but as I can't select a real file .... I dont know!

This may be because some of the backups were done to a server that no longer exists , but they are still listed in the window.

Sadly because I cant select them I cant delete them .......

How can I get rid of backup file names that no longer exist becuase the server has been retired , so I can see if this is the problem :?

Had exactly the same problem myself the other day and I /think/ a re-boot sorted it. Wasn't paying much attention, sorry.

Thanks Dave , wish it were that easy . It's not an absolute show stopper as I can restore by browsing to the backup file from the "Restore Company" tab in the retsore dialogie , but I just hate it when stuff doesnt work the way its supposed to . :|
