Line 50 shutting down

Post by weirwood » 30 Sep 2009, 20:25

Hello, I hope someone can help me with this. For no reason that I am aware of, my Line 50 2008 v14 will not close normally, offering me the backup option. It simply exits, and when restarted it says the system was not closed down properly, users are still logged on etc. This happens when a) I file/exit b) I double click on a bank account or nominal account to look at the activity c) when I do file/maintenance and it prompts me to close all other windows d) when I close the last pane. This started last week having worked perfectly for years. I am not aware of anything that could have caused it. I use RegCure to keep the Registry clean, but I have been doing that for years too, so hard to see why that should affect Sage now.
I've repaired the installation but no change.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris

Double posting?! Go check the other thread but if IE8 is installed as far as I know your version may not be compatible.

My thought would be some sort of spyware/malware.

Rather than repair, I would uninstall and reinstall.
