Running SL 50 v4.1 on Win 98
Went to restore from a successful backup and got error message saying unable to read. I noticed it always stuck on inv.dta. It did restore once but on scrolling through the invoices some had been repeated up to 20 times. One was dated 2041. I desperately need to repair this data or backup, can any one help please.

First check the date and time stamp of the backup file and make sure it is the one you want.
Try copying the data from the disk to another first and then using the other one.
Use your secondary backup.
