i would like to enter more description about the products that i am listing on the system, but there seems to be a limit as to the amount of characters that i am imputting. Is there anyway to extend the product description characters?

extending characters for product description

For just about anything Sage :- Discount subscriptions, pay-as-you-go support, application integration, reports, layouts, linked excel spreadsheets, analysis or any other help making life with sage easier/less time consuming Contact me.

You can not change the size of the fields, however... you can use other fields.
On the web tab you can find another web description and a details box, you could enter bigger descriptions there.
If you are looking to put longer product descriptions on reports & layouts then you will need to consider how much text you can fit on, you will need to alter the reports/layout to use the web details instead of the product description.
