password problem
password problem
Following a power cut Sage now asks me for a password to enter the programme. I have never set up a password and do not want one. The originals from the activation do not work. Any ideas how to bypass this?

Do you get the menu to choose the company?
Please confirm that on selecting a company it only asks for a password, not a username and password.

Thanks for attempts at help guys. Not sure what happened in power cut but was just asking for password which had never been set up. I have managed to get round it by borrowing a friend's computer. I first checked that the data was still OK by transferring it across to his machine and checking. I then transferred the demo data from his machine to a new Company on my machine which stayed open. I was then able to switch to the affected Company without hinderance.
When I exited all and went back to the affected Company I was able to access it immediately without being asked for a password.
Hope this might help anyone who gets the same problem.
