Report Designer - show product unit of sale

Hi, I have added the show unit of sale to my purchase orders and invoices where they are listed on the product card, but can't work out how to show on an S1, S2 line etc I have added as a one off. I don't always want it to show each, sometimes it's pack, sometimes it's meter, litre, coil, 5 pack etc I adjust accordingly through the 'Edit Item Line' in the description field of the purchase order or invoice.

Any ideas how I can write use UNIT OF SALE if available, otherwise use UNIT as per the Edit Item Line?

Unit of Sale exist for the special product codes but not for the M code.

You can just type something in it when you enter the item.

The trouble I'm having is showing this on the report designer; a rule to pick up on the unit of sale when I'm ordering a stock item and to pick up the unit I have entered specifically to the special order. I can't find where this information is picked from on the report designer or how to set the rule to chose the manually entered unit if no unit of sale is saved to the product card.

It you put something in it then it should appear.

Perhaps you have a non standard layout and have got the unit of sale from the stock table showing not the unit of sale from the invoice item (or sop item or pop item)

If you can attach the layout to you post I can take a look and see.

I have tweaked one of the standard layouts quite a bit to fit out requirements. And I think I have taken the unit from the stock table....

You need to use the unit from the invoice item table.

Great, I've changed that on my invoices now and used POP item to find it in Purchase Orders! Thanks so much
