Firstly sorry for any silly questions, I'm a newbie here and to sage..

What i would like to know is can i add a narrative or line of text to a service invoice, which would be at zero value?

The instance is when a customer has one of his service jobs returned undone and we just need it recorded on the invoice that it has been returned.

I suggest that you DONT use service invoices.

Use a product invoice but use the service product code S3 to add service items.

You can this way add message lines product code M

The only downside is that if you are using a very old upgraded service layout you may need to tweak or recreate it to work with both service and product invoices.
