restore sagebak001 to another desktop

Post by ducal » 15 Jun 2006, 22:00

sage line 50 v8.
A client has backed up their data and passed the sagebak001 file over.
this file has been restored (via Sage) with no further option settings(?).
When we now try to view the data on this new desktop, we cannot see all of the transactions as a present on the clients system.

Is there some setting which determines backing up from period to period?

Client has all options ticked (templates, reports etcetera) when backing up.

cheers
Alan

Sounds like the user has sent you the wrong file, have a look at the data and time of the file in windows and see if it is an older backup.
