restore back up data

I am trying to restore back up data from a memory stick. The restore shows that the restore was ok but when I look at the data in the sage system it has not restored the old data. Any suggestions?

The data on the stick is not the backup you made?
Check the windows date and time stamp on the file properties
Search your hard disk for files with the extension .001 you might have put it somewhere else by accident.
